To provide advisory and arrangement services to clients in the following areas:

  2. - Raising capital
  3. - Listings (of debt and equity)
  4. - Corporate advisory
  5. - Underwriting/pre-IPO participations
  6. - Private equity participation
  7. - Mergers & Acquisitions
  8. - Syndications

Risk Management Unit

The Risk Management Unit assesses the enterprise-wide risks within the guidelines / criteria and notifications of the State Bank of Pakistan that PIJICL may have to encounter through its activities.

Objectives

  • - All potential business proposals are screened by the Credit Risk-Appraisal Function and only those evaluations are put forward for the approvals which meet internal guidelines / criteria.
  • - Market Risks arising from business activities are monitored and managed by the Market Risk Function. Routine operations of Treasury & Investment Functions are monitored through Middle Office Function while ALCO provides strategic direction in relation to Balance Sheet Management. Capital Market operations are also subject to stringent and comprehensive Risk Management guidelines to ensure adequate control.
  • - Operational Risk Function is developing key risk indicators in coordination with Internal Audit Unit.

Information Technology Unit

  • - Deliver timely and effective responses to business requirements through teamwork.
  • - Security of PIJICL network, hardware, software, and data to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or loss and ensure business continuity.
  • - Provide and maintain software solutions that meet the unique requirements of the PIJICL core functional areas.
  • - Provide staff the resources, skills and tools necessary to support the business needs of PIJICL both inside and outside the Information Technology division.
